Informativa sui rimborsi

Warranty Policy

At SOLDERA, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our products. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is excluded, and how to request assistance if something goes wrong.

1. Warranty Period

SOLDERA products are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against defects and failures affecting electronic components when the product is used normally and as intended.

The warranty applies from the date of purchase. For customers in the European Union, this commercial warranty is provided in addition to applicable statutory consumer protections, which generally run from the date the product is delivered.

Warranty coverage is available to the original purchaser and requires valid proof of purchase.

Battery Coverage

Batteries are covered for 12 months against functional failure.

Normal battery aging and gradual reduction in capacity caused by regular use are considered normal wear and are not covered.

2. What We Cover

Our warranty is primarily intended to cover electronic defects that occur during normal use.

Covered components may include:

  • Soldering pen electronics
  • Multimeter electronics
  • Fan and light module electronics
  • Electronic control boards and related components
  • Internal wiring
  • Supplied electronic circuit components

Products Arriving Defective

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or completely non-functional, please notify us within 30 days of delivery and provide valid photographic or video evidence of the issue.

This includes products that cannot be used properly from the moment they are received.

3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Some types of damage or deterioration are outside the scope of this warranty.

Physical and 3D-Printed Parts

The warranty does not normally cover non-electronic components such as:

  • Holders
  • Brackets
  • Compartments
  • Organizers
  • Other plastic or 3D-printed modules

If one of these parts is damaged when your order arrives, please contact us within the applicable reporting period.

Normal Wear

Products naturally show signs of use over time. The following are not considered warranty defects:

  • Scratches
  • Surface marks
  • Discoloration
  • Mechanical wear
  • Age-related changes
  • Other cosmetic deterioration

Consumables

Items designed to be consumed or replaced during normal use are not covered. This includes:

  • Soldering tips
  • Filters
  • Solder
  • Flux
  • Cleaning materials
  • Adhesives
  • Batteries, except where specifically covered under the 12-month battery warranty described above

Accidental Damage or Improper Use

We cannot provide warranty coverage for damage caused by circumstances outside normal intended use, including:

  • Drops or impacts
  • Excessive force
  • Over-tightening
  • Incorrect operation
  • Liquid exposure
  • Overheating
  • Use with an incompatible power source
  • Use with incompatible accessories

Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications

Any damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or replacement of electronic components is excluded from warranty coverage and may invalidate the warranty.

However, customer-performed adjustments or repairs are permitted when they are carried out according to official SOLDR instructions or guides.

Software and Firmware

Software bugs, firmware issues, and software updates are not considered hardware warranty failures.

Where possible, we will provide troubleshooting instructions, firmware updates, patches, or other guidance to help resolve software-related issues.

Lost or Stolen Packages

SOLDR is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after the carrier has confirmed delivery to the designated delivery address.

4. Shipping Damage

If your package appears to have been damaged during transportation, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

This allows sufficient time for a claim to be submitted to the shipping carrier. We will assist you with the process and work with you toward an appropriate resolution.

5. Situations That May Affect Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage may be denied or considered void when a product:

  • Has been opened or disassembled beyond components intended to be serviced by the user
  • Contains third-party electronic components or unauthorized modifications
  • Has been operated using an incorrect voltage or charger
  • Has been used with incompatible accessories
  • Shows evidence of liquid damage or corrosion
  • Has been modified in a way that prevents us from identifying or diagnosing the original issue

6. How to Request Warranty Service

If you believe your product has a covered defect, please follow these steps.

Step 1 — Contact Our Support Team

Email soldera.pro@gmail.com with a short explanation of the problem.

Please describe what happened, when you first noticed the issue, and how the product was being used when the problem occurred.

Step 2 — Send Supporting Information

To help us understand and assess the issue, please provide:

  • Your order number or valid proof of purchase
  • Clear photographs showing the product and the issue
  • A video demonstrating the problem, where relevant
  • Any other information our support team may reasonably request

Step 3 — Product Assessment

Our team will review the information and determine whether the issue falls within the scope of this warranty.

Depending on the situation, the available resolution may include:

  • Repair of the defective electronic component
  • Replacement of the affected component
  • Replacement of the relevant product or module
  • A refund when repair or replacement is not reasonably possible

The appropriate solution will depend on the nature of the defect and the specific circumstances of the claim.

7. Warranty Returns and Shipping

When a warranty claim is approved, SOLDERA will cover the applicable return shipping costs.

For returns that are not covered by this warranty, the customer may be responsible for shipping and related costs.

For approved warranty claims, we will determine whether the affected electronic component should be repaired or replaced based on the nature of the issue.

8. Your Statutory Consumer Rights

This Warranty Policy provides additional contractual rights and does not remove, limit, or replace any mandatory rights you may have under the laws applicable to your purchase.

Your legal rights may vary depending on your country or region.

For Customers in the European Union

If you are an EU consumer, this commercial warranty does not replace the 2-year statutory legal guarantee provided under applicable EU consumer protection laws.

The statutory guarantee operates independently from this commercial warranty and applies from the date of delivery.

Where statutory consumer rights provide protections greater than or different from those described in this policy, those statutory rights remain unaffected.

9. Contact

We’re here to help you get the most out of your SOLDERA product.

10. Returns and Refunds

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return and refund within 30 days of receiving your order, subject to the conditions below.

To be eligible for a return:

  • You must provide a valid receipt or other proof of purchase.
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging.
  • The product must be unused and undamaged.
  • All original components, accessories, and packaging materials should be included.

SOLDERA Kits

A kit that has been partially or fully modified, altered, or otherwise used by the customer is not eligible for a return unless it was defective upon arrival and the defect is reported within the applicable 30-day period.

Return Inspection and Refund

Once we receive your returned product, we will inspect it to verify that it meets the return requirements.

If the return is approved, we will process the refund to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Please allow several business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider or bank.

11. Order Cancellations and Stock Availability

We carefully manage our inventory and make every effort to fulfill orders as placed. However, in rare circumstances, an order may need to be cancelled due to unexpected stock shortages, inventory discrepancies, or other fulfillment issues.

If we are unable to fulfill your order after payment has been made, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund for the cancelled order.

12. Return Shipping

For approved returns covered by this Return & Refund Policy, SOLDERA will cover the return shipping costs.

Where applicable, we will provide a return shipping label or instructions for arranging the return.

Please contact our support team if you need assistance with the return shipping process.

13. Unclaimed or Returned Shipments

If you do not collect your package from the courier or parcel point within the carrier's specified holding period and the package is subsequently returned to SOLDERA, additional shipping costs may apply.

If you would like the order to be shipped again, you will be responsible for the additional shipping cost associated with resending the package.

To avoid these charges, please make sure that you are available to receive your order or contact the courier using your tracking information to arrange delivery to an appropriate parcel point where available.

14. Packages Lost or Stolen After Delivery

Once a courier has confirmed that a package has been successfully delivered, SOLDERA is generally not responsible for packages that are subsequently lost, misplaced, or stolen.

If you believe your package has been stolen or incorrectly handled, we recommend contacting the courier as soon as possible and providing them with your tracking information.

Where available, you may be able to arrange delivery to a parcel point directly with the courier. Because parcel-point delivery options vary by country and carrier, this option may not be available directly during checkout.

You can contact the courier using the tracking information included in your shipping confirmation email.

15. Packages Lost Due to Courier Error

If your package is lost while in the courier's possession, please contact both the courier and SOLDERA as soon as possible.

In order for us to take further action, we may require official confirmation from the courier that the package has been declared lost.

Once the courier has confirmed the loss and accepted responsibility for the shipment, we may arrange a replacement order.

16. Incorrect Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address when placing an order.

If you notice that your shipping information is incorrect, please, send us the correct address immediately, or update or cancel your order as soon as possible.

You may contact us at soldera.pro@gmail.com.

If Your Order Has Not Yet Shipped

If the order has not been dispatched, you may be able to update the shipping address or cancel the order.

If Your Order Has Already Shipped

Once an order has been dispatched, SOLDERA cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed.

In this situation, we recommend contacting the courier directly using the tracking information provided in your shipping confirmation email. Depending on the carrier and destination, you may be able to request that the package be redirected to a parcel point.

You may then collect the package yourself or allow it to be returned to SOLDERA.

Delivery to an Incorrect Address

If a package is delivered to an incorrect address because an inaccurate address was provided by the customer, SOLDERA is not responsible for any resulting loss or damage.

The customer should contact the courier and, where possible, the recipient at the incorrect address to resolve the situation.

If the package is returned to SOLDERA, we can arrange a new shipment to the correct address. Additional shipping costs for the new shipment will be the customer's responsibility.
